March 15th is Eat a Tasty Animal for PETA Day

So, I've only just heard about this, but luckily it was in time!
Wednesday, March 15th is Eat a Tasty Animal for PETA (EATAPETA) day. It started a few years back by someone who was disgusted with the advertising that PETA was using, mocking the Holocaust. I mean, come on people! They are completely different. It's still a small protest, but it is growing in strength every year. I've already added it to my calendar for next year!

I know I'll be doing my part by having some tasty bacon and sausages for breakfast, a nice burger or donair for lunch, and then going out for a steak and some chicken wings.

Here's a look at PETA thanks to the "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!" show, of which I am a big fan. May not be safe for work, has a few adult words and images.

Speaking of BS!, the new season starts in a few weeks (April 3rd). It's only shown on Showtime in the US, but BitTorrent is your friend. The first 3 seasons are on DVD, and I'd suggest checking them out. They take on various pseudoscientific and other topics, and debunk them. Things like bottled water, seances, creationism, etc.

Can't wait for tomorrow! Too bad I don't own a leather coat and pants (actually, probably a good thing), or else I'd be wearing those out to eat, too.
